Messliner is a digital calculation tool for mess meal tracking, bazar ratio calculation, and member ledgers. Mess Managers are responsible for logging accurate financial records. Messliner is strictly an accounting computation tool and does not process physical cash or bank deposits.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Messliner, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not access or use our services.
2. Service Description
Messliner provides an automated dining and mess accounting software platform. Our tools allow shared mess residents, bachelor accommodations, and hostels to:
- Log daily member meal selections (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Automatically compute real-time Bazar Ratio (Meal Rate) (`Total Bazar Expenses ÷ Total Meals`).
- Maintain transparent member deposit ledgers and personal balance calculations.
- Authenticate securely using Supabase Auth with email verification and Forgot Password OTP codes.
- Receive real-time push notifications (OneSignal/FCM) and optional automated cash deposit confirmation SMS alerts on mobile numbers when enabled by Mess Managers.
3. Mess Roles & Responsibilities
Messliner uses role-based access control to enforce operational transparency:
- Mess Manager Responsibilities — Managers are required to enter accurate bazar expense entries, upload verifiable purchase receipts, record member cash/mobile banking deposits promptly, and configure SMS deposit notification settings responsibly.
- Member Responsibilities — Members must enter or update their meal choices before daily manager deadlines, inspect personal balance ledgers regularly, and maintain valid email/mobile details for OTP and deposit SMS receipts.
4. Financial & Math Disclaimer
Messliner is strictly an automated mathematical computation software tool. Messliner does NOT process, hold, transfer, or escrow physical currency or digital bank deposits.
All calculations depend entirely on user-entered numerical values. Mess Managers are solely responsible for handling physical cash, bKash, Nagad, or bank deposits within their mess group. Messliner Inc. is not liable for financial discrepancies resulting from incorrect data inputs.
5. Mobile Application, OTP & Communication Terms
The Messliner Android Mobile Application is built using Flutter and operates as a native WebView wrapper.
Authentication & Email OTP: Account registration and password recovery ("Forgot Password") use Supabase Auth to send transactional emails and 6-digit OTP verification codes. By initiating account setup or password resets, you consent to receiving these transactional authentication emails.
Push Notifications & Cash Deposit SMS: The app integrates OneSignal for push alerts. Furthermore, when a Mess Manager enables the Deposit Confirmation SMS setting in the admin panel, cash deposits logged for a user will trigger an automated transactional SMS receipt sent to the member's registered mobile number.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
When using Messliner, you agree NOT to:
- Falsify expense figures or enter fraudulent financial records.
- Attempt to tamper with role-based access controls or access unauthorized mess data.
- Abuse the Supabase OTP verification system or send automated spam SMS requests.
- Use automated scripts, web scrapers, or bots to harvest data from our servers.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the Flutter APK or Web App.
7. Cloud Infrastructure & Security
Messliner uses Google Firebase enterprise infrastructure for data storage and Supabase Auth for secure identity verification. Data in transit is protected using 256-bit SSL/TLS 1.3 encryption. Users are responsible for keeping account login credentials confidential.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All software code, visual interface designs, logos, calculation algorithms, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Messliner Inc.
9. Service Availability & Maintenance
We strive for 99.9% platform availability. Scheduled server maintenance or system updates will be announced inside the app dashboard whenever possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Messliner Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service usage or cash handling disputes between mess members.
